By creating an account or using Little Readers Nook ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers.

Description of Service

Little Readers Nook is a subscription-based early literacy platform that provides digital ebooks for children in Pre-K through 3rd grade. Books are organized by grade level, phonics unit, and theme. A selection of books is available free of charge; full library access requires an active subscription.

Accounts

• Accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may create child profiles under your account for your own children.
• You may not share your account with others outside your immediate household.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
• Prices may change with 30 days notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

Content & Intellectual Property

All books, illustrations, text, and other content on Little Readers Nook are the property of Little Readers Nook or its content licensors and are protected by copyright law.

• Content is licensed for personal, non-commercial use by your household only.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content.
• You may not use the content for commercial purposes or classroom distribution without written permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access, scrape, or download content in bulk
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the platform
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with the operation of the service

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will meet your specific educational requirements. Reading progress and outcomes vary by child.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Readers Nook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
