How to Play

Pick a board that matches the vowel sound your child is working on — the -at and -an families on the Short A board are a great first game. Roll a die, find the row that matches the number, and have your child read all four words across, left to right. Because every word in a row shares the same vowel sound, kids build speed and confidence through repetition instead of guessing. Play until every row has been read, then switch to a new vowel board to keep it fresh.
